We want every man to have a great time, so we keep the schedule loose. Do all of it, or sit by the fire the whole weekend.
Two classes worth the cash
Cigar Rolling
with Ultimo Cigars
$40 / person
You receive a premium handcrafted cigar and watch a full rolling demonstration start to finish. Then you take your own station — all materials and equipment supplied — and roll your own, with a custom band on it when you're done.
We're paying to bring the master roller out; the class is on you. Cash only, on location.
Butchery with
Farmstead Meatsmith

Brandon Sheard of Farmstead Meatsmith joins us for the first time — whole-animal butchery, done the old way, in front of you.

What to bring
Send us your flight schedule as early as you can and we'll try to coordinate pick-up and drop-off to the campsite. Renting a car is fine too — we're just trying to keep this affordable.
No camping equipment? We'll supply it. We keep extra tents, sleeping bags and gear — just reach out beforehand so we can plan.
We also need a few men to help run airport pickups. Let us know if you can take a run.
What you need to know
What if I can't come the whole time?
No problem. Some men don't get in until Friday. You're free to arrive any time after 2 p.m. Thursday. We start cleaning up the campgrounds after Holy Mass on Sunday, but you can stay longer if you'd like.
What are the costs?
If you support us on Patreon, the whole weekend is free — our thank you. Otherwise it's $50 per person to help cover costs, paid in cash on location. Nothing to pay ahead of time. The event is expensive to run, so donations are welcome.
Will there be Holy Mass?
Yes — every day if you desire, plus the Liturgy of the Hours with the monks. Wear pants to Mass; a suit and tie aren't required at the abbey. Most of the guys are in camping clothes.
Showers and toilets?
Yes, but not on location. It's a short drive or a 15-minute hike to the facilities.
What about food?
We provide it. With a group this size we run sign-ups so every man helps cook and clean one meal — everyone serves, everyone enjoys the weekend. Snacks are on hand, and some groups will eat with the monks. We've never had a campout where men went hungry.
What about drinks?
We bring beer kegs and whiskeys to sample. We want to glorify our Lord in every manner at the campout, drinking in moderation included. Bring something to share if you like. We should have cases of the new TCMS Winged Hussar Red Wine for sale — bring cash.
Is there electricity?
A generator for emergencies and CPAP machines. Outside of that, no electricity.
Will my cell phone work?
Possibly. If it doesn't, a short drive gets you reception — though we'd advise enjoying a few days off the grid. The abbey has a landline for emergencies; we'll share it with everyone who signs up.
