About our drink:
Cody Road Single Barrel Bourbon
Buffalo Bill Cody lived life large. Born just a mile from our distillery, we honor his legend with a BIG whiskey. This limited wheated bourbon is hand-selected one barrel at a time. Bottled at barrel proof of 105, we encourage you to live life large the Cody Road way.
Grain bill
70% corn, 20% wheat, 10% barley
Serving style
Add a splash of water or an ice cube to bring out the big flavor. Outstanding in classic cocktails like an Old Fashioned or a Julep.
Tasting notes
Bold vanilla and caramel soar out of this high proof bourbon. The sweetness of corn gives way to buttery wheat and a unique finish of roasted nuts and toffee
About the gear:
Paracord.
Parachute cord (also paracord or 550 cord when referring to type-III paracord) is a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of parachutes. This cord is useful for many other tasks and is now used as a general purpose utility cord by both military personnel and civilians. This versatile cord was used by astronauts during the 82nd Space Shuttle mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.[1]
The braided sheath has a high number of interwoven strands for its size, giving it a relatively smooth texture. The all-nylon construction makes paracord fairly elastic.
Current technical standards for the manufacture of cord for use in parachutes are published by the Parachute Industry Association. The US military MIL-C-5040H standard required the material to be nylon.[2] Similar styles of cord are manufactured with other materials such as polyester.[3]

About our topic:
Obedience is a topic that isn’t talked about much. Possibly because authority isn’t taken seriously anymore. Possibly because we live in a world that doesn’t know how to deny our own will. We discuss these implications in this week’s episode.
