About our drink:

Herradura Reposado Tequila. We want to thank the parishioner who kindly donated this bottle of tequila for TCMS. This tequila is double rested for unmatched taste. Herradura Double Barrel Reposado is the product of a novel, two-step aging process. The first involves resting the tequila in charred American White Oak barrels for 11 months. It’s then moved to new charred barrels and aged for an additional 30 days. This creates a rich, dark amber colored liquid and a smooth yet complex flavor profile not found in any other Reposado, with hints of cooked agave, vanilla, allspice, clove, and oak.

About the gear:

We had the assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for OSU with us! Come on, we wanted to pick his brain on working out so our gear this week is a gym membership and/or a workout buddy.

About our topic:

What should you do (and not do) when your wife is ready to enter the Right of Christian Initiation for Adults? What if she isn’t sure if she is ready? As a husband, what are the best ways to walk with her through the process? We discuss this and a lot more in this episode.

About our guests:

Father Brian O’Brien is a priest of the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma and pastor of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Stillwater Oklahoma. He is a Houston, TX native and graduate of Boston College, The Alliance for Catholic Education at Notre Dame, and Saint Meinrad Seminary and school of theology in southern Indiana.

Coach Gary Calcagno is the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Oklahoma State University focusing on OSU Football and OSU Wrestling programs. In 2008, he was named Master Strength and Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. This is the highest given in the strength and conditioning coaching profession. He is personally responsible for every aspect of strength and conditioning for Oklahoma State Wrestling. Before coming to OSU, Gary spent 6 seasons at Washington State University as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Drinking: Herradura Double Barrel Reposado Tequila

Gear: Gym Membership and/or workout partner
